Currently have a Bontrager Line Dropper Post. I know it’s not the best but it will do until it breaks or starts to play up.

But after a new remote that I can mount on the brake lever.

Is the Wolftooth a good option?

I didn’t even realise Shimano did them! Just had a look and they seem to be far more adjustable than the wolf tooth clamp.

I've just bought a OneUp lever and I think it's great. Nice shape and good action It's the EV mount but I'm using it with an i-Spec II lever and it's fine.

Someone gave us a WolfTooth and it's absurdly overpriced for a dropper lever, and not even that elegantly put together (and the paddle has sharp edges). The 10-£15 Ztto is an exact copy.

The Shimano dropper levers are as well made as you'd expect. Cant see why you'd pay the extra cost above the cheap one (and weirdly they take pics of them from diffent angles - my memory is the deore one looks almost identical to the xtr - we sold ours as used Bonty to fit SRAM brakes)

It's not exact but is pretty close. I compared them in detail. The dimensions that matter are the same and the parts are interchangeable.

I’m beginning to wonder if I should just stick with 2 clamps. I have a wolftooth adaptor to use on the other side to attach GX shifter but fit looks a bit suspect and not sure it will angle how I want it too.

They are with the wolftooth levers adapter.
