Well the first one had all the compulsory elements required for a "sick edit" but the Cotic one is a better film. Some lovely riding there.

What's wrong with full sus videos? Are you trying to justify a recent hardtail purchase?

Now't wrong with a full suss edit, its just the hardtail one's are fewer and far between! I bought a bfe in April and its needs no justification, but we all need a little inspiration now and again!

Not entirely convinced about the video style, but totally convinced about the bike!

Love this one with the scenery, the scrunchy gravel sounds and a pint afterwards:

Ratboy and peaty riding chameleons...

There's an (imho, of course) even better video of Steve riding a hardtail... probably an Orange as its years old. Dammit, going to have to find it now! May have been on an old DVD.

This has been around for a few years, but still one of my favorites,

The video techniques are a bit dated

The Switchback video makes my eyes hurt. Nice riding, but shot the editor.

The Cotic 26 Ain't Dead is definitely a favourite.

Off to youtube to search for more.

Italy holds a special place in my heart, the views are stunning. In fact I wish I was there, going there..

That last whistler one has some amazing riding in, I think its's the same guy as is in the Chromag trail boss film too.

The original Stanton Slackline video (made me want, and later buy, one);

(hard to believe the horrific Switchback video is from the same bike company).

Was it this by any chance?

Earthed 3 - hardtails rule section starting out at Delamere forest with Steve Peat and Nigel Page? Pretty much wore out this dvd when it came out…

Yup - pretty sure that's it! I recall Steve being on a dayglo bike.

this word should never be used to describe riding bikes. FFS!

I rather like this one. I'm not sure it's an "edit" as such though.

That Dave Flynn has an understanding other half. I'm never be let back in house after a ride. I have to strip down to my liners.. Nice to ride in the snow.. It's been a few years.

quite a few snow ride edits on this thread.

asbrooks - not a strip down outside in the cold I hope!

Hopefully some snow this winter. I had one mega ride year before last when we were getting snow nearly every weekend up to about April or something. It was all powdery giving loads of grip. Fun times

POSTED 20 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

Yeah.. I thought I'd found a bike for life with my Soul, but if I ever win the lottery I could definitely be tempted by a Switchback after watching that
