Not Amazon sorry, but
put it with £65 and get some bose earbuds!
Asda do a set of very high range Sony ones - £50'ish reduced down to that sort if money (or they were)
If not I have a brand new set that I can't use because my ear canals are too small and I can't get custom tips for them.

these, small powerfull and the line is tangle proff
+1 for the Bose ear buds. Unbeatable.
Still looking . Keen if posible to get the track skip, mic and volume options.
Erring towards sennheiser i think.
Get cheap ones as you will break them often
sennheiser have never let me down, and crucially, fit i my ear without me having to fiddle with them every ten minutes to get them to stay put. Yes iphone earbuds, I'm talking about you
Sony have all the features you want. DR-EX12iP
I personally are using Bose as ultimate ears do the custom tips I need otherwise its on-ears for me.
i use something like Sony MDR J10 over the ear jobbies with an inline apple remote (you can't really use it for more than stop/start/volume and next track though so have you playlist ready before hand) that clips nicely onto my camelbak strap. The main reason for choosing these was comfort on long rides.

Non remote version here but I like them, good customer service too.

All my ear buds break, are there any that last?
I used to have a pair of those Sony earphones but lost them while boarding last year. They are OK for riding but they did tend to slip out during heavy exercise when you get sweaty. I currenty have a set of Phillips ones that are supposed to be designed for sport but are pretty awful both is sound and they never really fit into the ear that well and you need to turn the volume up high to stop the noise of the rushing wind.
Jabre sport blue tooth for iphone coming in a nearly twice the price...
Aaahhh..
Used to use Sennheisers, but switched to these after reading so many excellent reviews.

'What Hifi' gave them 5 stars and the sound kicks the arse off the Sennheisers I had that were twice the price. They've got mic and all the controls you're wanting for skipping tracks/volume etc. Doubt I'd buy anything else these days.

that's what buffs are for 😉

Why? I'd say its the cyclist community responsibility to warn one of its members of sensory deprivation and the effect of pressure in the inner ear on balance, before he gets hurt, don't you?
Still it's his choice..... As long as he doesn't reappear complaining about drivers/walkers and so forth
FWIW.
There is no UK law banning cyclists from listening to music while riding, but if found guilty of dangerous riding you can be fined up to £2,500.
I use these Sennheiser MM 30i for my commute & they're perfect 🙂

Sound great
Cheap enough not to worry about
Never fall off your ears
Super long lead so you can stash your MP3 in a bag
Leave you able to still hear traffic
Surprisingly water resistant
Glad someone got it Kryton!
Excellent mr insane, looks like a winner.
Just need to find em in stock.
Ref cycling, if i do use them will only be bridleways.
I am a responsible cyclist, but always good to have my intentions questioned..
No worries. Got a few friends that have them too and they're all delighted with them. Hopefully Amazon will have some in soon, but you can get them elsewhere too, if you're in a hurry.
Cynic and krypton - love you guys, damn you both were quicker than me! 😉

They are cheap enough to have several pairs with different music for your mood and are fine in the rain with the bonus of no wires 🙂

I use these, come with attachments that route the cable round the ear, very secure when riding.
I really wish it was possible to get some sort of mini speaker that clips onto your helmet that directed music towards your ear without completely blocking out ambient noise. Pretty sure Giro do something similar for ski/board helmets.
My RHAs came with the slipperiest earbuds ever. A dab of moisture or sweat and they fall out constantly
get the soundmagic e10 cracking earphones you wont be dissapointed, richer sounds doing them for £26 at moment bargain
Why don't you just sing while riding along. Cheaper and safer and also warns other bridleway users of your impending arrival 😀
£10 skull candy (inks?). No controls on them but you dont realy need that.
sennheiser cx300's, no controls but really good:

OR
sennheiser px100 ii, i reckon best in there class. better than dr dre crap:

Noise cancelling earphones - no one else see the [s]irony[/s] / idiocy ?
Why spend a load of cash on earbuds for cycling? Just get some Skull Candy Ink'ds for £10, and not worry about them getting sweated into next week.
Sound Magic E10, in-ear so stay put and the best sound at that price range by a country mile.
These are amazeballs.

Made in Scotland, from girders.
Another Soundmagic E10 fan here, bought after recommendations from friends in the know and very pleased with them.
Thanks guys. E10's bought.
Mr insane you have an email .
J..
For the love of all that's good don't get the £10 skull candy ones, I'd rather listen to the sound of a tenner burning than have those head phones play a tinny, quiet and echo-y affront to sound again.
And breathe.

Have to spend a fair amount of time getting to and from trails on a canal towpath and this drives me absolutely ****ing nuts. Loads of muppets walking, walking dogs, jogging, riding bikes - all completely and utterly oblivious to anything or anyone coming up behind them.
Loads of muppets walking, walking dogs, jogging, riding bikes - all completely and utterly oblivious to anything or anyone coming up behind them.
This +lots
Also blocking out your only method of sensing impending danger from behind or to the side when cycling seems particularly crazy
I 'king love the look of surprise when I appear alongside them. Close.
Sad when people turn the countryside and a mountain bike into a virtual gym and an exercise bike, but their choice. Meh.
I use the first version of these as they allow you to still hear the traffic.

Nup, I still don't get it. In some respects I find that even more moronic than shutting out all other sound. Why is there such a "need" to take portable electronic devices into the country? I'm out on my bike to escape all that sh1t.... increasingly I'm met with an immovable wall of idiots who think it's cool to be wired to the moon while out for a bloody walk.
