£320ish here if you can live with Dual Position.

I don't think you can add tokens to dual position.

Holy spirit that is cheap!

Have DPs at the mo so can live with that - I do believe that RS have just started doing tokens for them anyway

Cheers Munrobiker! 🙂

You can now (not that I think they're worth the bother to a normal human being).

https://sram.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205649428-Can-I-use-bottomless-tokens-in-my-Dual-Position-fork-

Part number - 11.4018.032.004 Bottomless Token Kit Qty 3 PIKE Dual Position Air A1

Mine didn't come with any and as I'm neither a pro nor a journalist I haven't felt the need to put any in.

Tops- just note that they're shiny black not matte, although they do have white as well.

Loco is worth a call if you want someone you can speak to about them. He offered me a very good price recently.

That price ^ is excl VAT so brings it back into the realms of normality - still good though cheers.

+1 re tokens - some of our lot have been debating about them being too "linear" seem fine to me

Onza - will give Loco a try too cheers

I bought some RCT3 solo airs very recently from alltricks, worked out at £460 delivered.

Also, I can confirm that 3 tokens vs 0 tokens makes a huge difference to the performance of the Pikes, even to a distinctly average Joe like me. Experiment!

They are for 150mm DPAs. The 160mm DPAs are dearer.

The dogma has become "Pikes need tokens", but surely it is completely different for the dual position Pikes? The point of a token is to reduce air chamber volume but if you compare cut-away images of the air chamber in single positions versus dual, it is much smaller in the duals already. Is this an over simplification? Would love to hear an expert view (I'm looking at you Mr. Loco!). My duels certainly don't seem divey

Fair point, I can't comment on dual positions as I've only every used solo airs. My experience of solo airs is that if I set what I consider to be the correct sag, then they bottom out way too easily. However I'm 15 stone and don't have the most gracious technique landing drops so 3 tokens were what I needed to get them feeling right. Different riding styles, weights etc will obviously require different set-ups!

I think there are tokens for DPA now (or a newer DPA pike that accepts tokens, not sure which)

While it doesn't help you I'm releived, I paid £360 two weeks ago and was a bit disappointed when I saw I could have paid £40 less!

There's a great bike shop me and my buddies use called Thattos int St. Helens who always will do you a great deal, especially if you go in recommended

Also know it's best to try and not build up a new frame with a load of shitty old bits as it causes nothing but trouble, especially round degla:) 🙂

For info Dual Positions are more linear than the Solos. I needed 2 tokens in DPA Pikes but only one when I changed to Solos.

Am quite interested in a set of 27.5 Pikes for my new bike...

...Question - do they do the Yari in conventional 15x100mm?

Yes.

Re: Pikes. Don't get the dual position unless you want that - get a cheaper fork. You won't get Pike Solo Air performance from the Dual Position.

Talk to you LBS once you've got some online prices; you might be surprised what they can do to help (with some help from Fishers) if they know what you're looking at.

I got my 2016 pikes from Loco.
Good price, they were checked and re-greased and delivered earlier than expected.
Can recommend highly enough.
Give him a call.
