I’m looking to sell some bigger bits and pieces like frames and wheels and struggling to find cost effective, insured postage. Best I can find is about £12 for delivering a small frame box with send it now. Which is great in itself but only £50 insurance cover. To boost the insurance to £500 it suddenly adds an extra £24! Anyone got any better options or do people not bother with the insurance?
Parcel force seems to be the best service.
Never sure about insurance, maybe ask the buyer if he is willing to split the extra £24, seems to be a good investment on both behalf's.
+1 Parcelforce here just sent a complete Cannondale CAADX with insurance to £500, cost me £40. 48 hour delivery and tracked.
I've always used parcel force to send stuff without any hassle.
+1 parcelforce
Thanks all I'll have a look at parcel force again and see how they compare.
Paisley Freight
Senditnow IS Parcelforce.
If you're paying extra for insurance then carefully read the insurance claims info.
Or just wing it and hope for the best 😮
