Best Chain Tensioner thingy?

Hi all

Am converting my HT to a SS and am new to it all so not sure what is good bad or ugly..

A mate has told me I need a chain tensioner, 18t cog and spacer kit but unsure which of these to get. On-one? Surly? (quite like the look of), other?

I've tried a good few over the years. Without doubt the best tensioners are those that mimic a small dérailleur.
