Hi Guys,
Ok, looking for some new brakes.
Currently using Guides RSC but prefer Shimano.
Thinking XT upward?
Zee, Saint, XT?
Ride quite a lot, here and abroad so something that can cover everything.
Cheers
Marco

This’ll be a short easy-going thread ha ha.

I like Shimano, my M8000s (latest XTs) are awesome.

I think there’s not many shit brakes left around.

Shimano if you're a cheapskate and don't mind having to re-bleed them every few months.

Otherwise, buy Hope; the best bar none. Yes, they are expensive, but look at them as an investment. They will last forever and can be fully rebuilt. They also look really cool when you buy them in a snazzy colour and then match the rest of your bike to them.

I’d go Deore over XT, SLX. If you really need more power, Zee.

Taylforth, almost back to your glory days with that one, but not quite 🙂

I just specced SLX over XT on my new bike last week. They are functionally the same.
