It's bespoked in Manchester at the end of this week.

Anyone know if there is any secure(ish) bike storage there or do we all have to drive there?

Think there is something on the website - not secure parking if I remember correctly. Think we are going by train and foot.

When I exhibited at Bristol you couldn't leave the show with a bike (to prevent exhibits being stolen) so guess that precludes taking it in with you.

There's very little parking round there - bus from Manchester city centre is the best bet

And if the organisers haven't explicitly said what secure bike parking will be available then don't take one because my Spidey sense says not

I agree, train and bus it'll be.

Cheers

We're doing train and bus (or two buses). There's no way I'd be leaving any sort of bike except the cheapest possible BSO around that area - and even then I'd expect it not to be there when I got back.

Will there be bike parking at the event?
Bike parking will be available outside both venues. You must bring your own lock to securely lock your bicycle to the A-frames. Neither BESPOKED nor the venue can be held responsible for bicycles parked outside

From the website. I've exhibited at shows there before and there is a carpark at the back. Not sure where they will put the a frames tho. If they use the same security they are very good.

From @stwhannah - looks like bike racks in a building with a guard.

Just been. By bike. Can confirm, all seems pretty secure. Bring your own lock.

@whydot did I see you?! I’ve spoken to so many of you now it’s all a blur. Did a good 10 hours of solid chat yesterday! Looking forward to more today 🙂
