[Closed] Bent Seat rails?
Noticed today when I cleaned my bike that the seat was leaning to the side, took it off and the rails under the seat are somewhat unsymmetrical and not even parallel.

I don't know how long it's been like this, is it just a normal wear and tear thing that happens? Also taking suggestions for a new comfortable all day MTB seat.
Mrs Rickmeister bent her seat rails waaay more that that.. I pulled the saddle to straighten them, then looked at teh area of the bend and repositioned the seat on the post.
All fine at the moment and the set is well supported... I think you will be fine...
Yeah, try bending it back. If it doesn't hold, New saddle time.
Most likely caused by a crash I'd have thought.
It's not bothered you til now so if I was you I'd just refit it!
But, if you want to straighten it, best way is to clamp one rail in the seatpost, you'll not find a better clamp and it means you can put all the force exactly where you want it.
