After some careful bodging it looks like the rear axle on Mrs G road bike has a bit of a bend in it enough to make the cassette wobble, It is an unbranded hub using sealed bearing which are smooth . where to get new axle? What will i need to measure? Any help out there please?

The vast majority of low end hubs do this a little.It's not actually the axle being bent (think about it...the axle does'nt move) just poor hub/freehub body alignment.
