Hi all,
I have just purchased a bender fender front mudguard & it seems to sit very close to my tire. Am slightly worried that mud will get stuck in there between the tire and the guard.

Anyone else used one & had similar problems?

Cheers
Geordynige

Aye, but only in really horrible mud, the sort that's crap for riding in anyway. Snow can be quite bad though. Have you got it as tight to the fork as possible?

You've changed your tune.

Do you teleport past the "horrible" mud?

Yes but have quite nobbly 2.2 tires on a roxshox reba team fork which is already quite close to the tire.

Am racing tomorrow so think will put the downtube mudguard on too as I think there will be plenty of mud!

Nige, it will sometimes clog, other than teleporting/choosing another route this will leave you the option to walk/carry the bike or simply remove it. Neither are a huge deal.
<edit> in a race it will be, pre-ride the muddiest bits and remove if needed.

What are you like... It's exactly what I said last time.

And no need to teleport- I just avoid it in the first place, since it's crap whether you have a fender or not.
