Any pointers please, which is the best descent, Carn Liath or the stalkers path at the far end?
I had a debate on here a while back about this, some info on that thread.

Not the loop but the traverse of the munro, trying to decide north or south.
I loved it.

Ace. I did North end from Tilt. Blooming tough, but fast, pull up to the top. The rest of the day was really rideable.
I do think South to North, descending the way I came up would be better/worth a try.

cheers, i'm erring towards south to north, really enjoyed the stalkers path down to forest lodge.
PS. meaning I enjoyed the one on Cairn a chlamain.
I did it South to North. Great descent into Tilt though you need to get off occasionally to make sure where the path is (it's that small!).
I thought the riding on the ridge would be better N to S though (highest to lowest peak).
