Afternoon all.
Something to look forward to - a week in Beddgelert at Easter next year and given its location I'll be taking a bike with me! A cursory glance on streetmap.co.uk shows a fair smattering of bridleways (and more importantly, footpaths :D) but does anyone know of any decent routes in the area that would be rideable from Beddgelert itself? 2/3 hours or so max?
Cheers
Dave
The nearby forest, up the road, has lots of forestry double track in it. OK for a mornings blast. Otherwise its Wales, generally good for all sorts of riding.
I think there is a bike hire place in the forest that may have a website / maps.
You're not far from coed y brenin or the marin or penmachno if you can drive. Otherwise there must be a lot around that way that's not officially marked.
Use strava heatmap, looks like theres some stuff near tyddyn mawr
You have the answers already look at the footpaths all good, also over the hill into lanberis loads of local built trails
