One of my V12 pedals has had a rough bearing (the outer sealed one) in it since I took it out of the box and it's finally starting to seize now.
Having looked at it, it's metal shielded as opposed to rubber sealed. I'm going to replace it with a stainless bearing, but just wondered if there's any mechanical reason for DMR to use metal shielded over rubber sealed bearings in this application - there's clearly a cost benefit for them though!
