I'm off biking in Morocco shortly - 12 days, mainly jeep track. In a quandry as to the best way of carrying my stuff. Luggage will be light, but bulky (Sleeping bag, clothes, travel towel, tools, sandals, wash bag and sundries - no camping gear). I will need a 3l water reservoir as well.
Options are a beam rack and small panniers with a Camelbak classic for water or a KIMM style rucksack.
The beam rack I've got is very solid with bolt, not QR, fixing and integrated pannier sides. The panniers are the Carradura front panniers with combined 30l capacity. The back pack is a OMM 32L.
I'm erring towards the rack option purely for the comfort angle.
Anyone here care to offer an opinion?
cheers
