Does anybody know if British Cycling membership is renewed automatically?
They appear to have taken £75 out of my account. I'm pretty sure I haven't set up a direct debit for a rolling membership.

you have to have chosen that option. That said, I thought I hadn't and was about to renew but realised they'd done it for me.

I thought that may be what happened. As I said I'm sure I didn't choose the option.
Mine has never been renewed automatically.
Mine renews automatically, but I've always had a letter the month prior informing me and also giving the option/time to cancel.
They notify you a month in advance of automatic renewal. Mine is paid by DD and licence sent via my BC club secretary - once I've paid club membership. If you aren't a member of a club, they send it directly.
