I want to get a bike seat for our 7 month year old nipper, who seems able to hold their head in place. Will probably try and go out cycling in the spring with her. Has anyone got any experiences of any bike seats for kids? Any recommendations welcome, or if anyone can give me any pointers. Main queries are:
- front v rear (some say front is easier to talk to kid, but rear a bit safer - i.e. if you cycle into something). Am not really sure of the arguments in either direction.
- any recommendation on makes - have only seen Hamax and Weeride and feel neurotic going through mumsnet
- are any easily removable - we have to store the bike outside, so would probably bring the seat in after use if possible
P.S. We don't have the space for storing a trailer unfortunately.
