Anyone got any experience with Bax wheels? They just look like another Farsports importer but the prices are certainly attractive (road wheels btw). Would assume the product is fine? Don't know about backup/service though?

No experience, but these rims https://www.baxcarbon.co.uk/product-page/50mm-full-carbon-clincher-aero-wheelset-shimano look very similar to mine in terms of shape (U shape) and dimensions (same width and depth).

I can't even remember what brand mine are (wheelsfar maybe) but they're not too bad. Built on DT 240 hubs and they feel light ๐Ÿ˜€ and ride ok, although deffo not the stiffest. Braking is ok with lifeline pads, bit grabby, but they stop. Haven't melted the rims yet either, infact I think they heat up much less than alloy rims do.

The main reason to get them is cos they look cool![img] [/img]

Bendertherobert has reviewed a couple of sets of Bax wheels rather favourably. The latest review: https://roubaixcycling.cc/2017/05/12/bax-carbon-disc-wheelsets/ if that helps.

Well obviously! But you've still got to pretend you can feel the benefits of the extra aeroz!

I bought a house at the top of a hill, as soon as I'm out the door I'm doing 35mph* - all the justification I need!

*briefly, very briefly
