Have read the instructions and seem pretty simple. the site advises Fox 7wt oil
I have some Stendec 7.5wt oil kicking about - I am guessing that this would be ok ot use. Other than the oil weight is there anything else on grade etc that I should be looking for?
Alsowhat do companies that service forks do on a annual service over and above an oil change?
Thanks
Kwack
The 7wt should be ok for lubrication duties as the damper and spring asssemblies are separate.
The full service involves a complete strip, clean inspection adjustment of any manufacturing errors including bush sizeing if necessary.
The Talas spring assm. would be stripped and all seals and lubrication replaced.
The damper cartridge would also be stripped and rebuilt with fresh oil, seals and a new bladder.
Any further queries drop me a mail.
