Got the choice between a 29er minion dhf 2.3 or a barzo 2.35 for the front wheel on my canyon hard tail. Going to be standard xc type riding, Surrey hills, swinley type stuff. Is either of the two noticeably better, will I notice any difference? There’s already a barzo on the rear wheel if that makes any difference.
Really like the barzo, good all rounder, but it’s much more toward the xc end of the spectrum than the minion surely? I’d choose the barzo for the riding you describe.

Minion's a lot grippier at this time of year. I have a Barzo/Mezcal on the XC race bike, but it becomes pretty useless as soon as the mud and leaves set in. Unless you're racing or trying to push your distances, I can't see a reason not to ride a DHR except matching tyre brands (which is a good reason).
Next step up from the Barzo is an Aggaro? Mazza or Martello?
