Just arrived in a rainy Bardonecchia for 2 day's riding, currently watching a proper storm.ย The bike park seems to have a good reputation, but an underwhelming choice of trails on the official map.ย Does anyone have any tips for rides out of the park but still using the lifts?ย Being the Alps, I'm sure there's loads, but I dont know this area at all.
cheers
Sauzi d'Oulx. Way better and just down the road. Montgenevre worth a trip also but only ridden the bike park trails at Bardonecchia I'm afraid.
Try Strava or trailforks for unofficial stuff
Yorkshireripper has posted exactly what I was going to say.
I did a day in bardonnechia in the rain a few years ago, Christ it was sketchy. The mud was somewhat slippy... with enough rocks to hurt you when you fell off!
And the run from montgenevre down to Briancon... fantastic. Definitely one to do.
