Any recommend any decent bright bar end cap LED lights?
Seem like a good idea on drop bars
I bought some of these.

They are ok for riding around town at night. Not a substitute for a proper rear light though.
they just seem like a good idea to help mark you out.. cant seem to find any bright ones
I have the cheap ones on my bike, but I still use a proper rear light.
If you want bright here you go, but they'll cost you.
I got the tacx ones and the switch to turn them on has broken. Have returned twice and warraty replacement did the same thing so have given up.
Nice idea and more light the better, just a poor button design.
If your rear light is effective then you do not need bar end lights....
Its like overtaking a lorry at night... You make the move past the rear red lights and then are greeted by few amber ones????
❓
My tacx ones seemed great until they got wet, when they behaved strangely, failed and got slung in the back of the cupboard. Good idea and I'll be looking for something similar this winter.
I have the tacx ones also but like others have mentioned they have no water proofing so they came to an end pretty quickly in the winter. The indicator is a nice feature however drivers aren't going to be looking for an indicator light on a bike and it can be a faff to turn the indicator on. They also aren't particularly bright from the rear. The front ones may add some extra illumination however. They're a nice idea however they aren't the greatest since they're powered by 1 x 1.5v battery.
The Tacx ones are a nice little addition if you subscribe to the more lights the better idea but as above, the quality is somewhat lacking.
They are also liable to being obscured by your legs depending on the size of your thighs and bar width.
