I see a fair bit about how good they are - any negatives from folk who own one or have owned one?
Second hand Large ones are like rocking horse shit so I assume they are great or snap.
The stock shock on mine didn't really work with the frame.
Other than that it is an amazing bike, got no intention of changing it anytime soon
Same as Graham - running a ccdb inline on mine now and much much better.
Had a fair few peddle strikes with 175mm cranks (that were stock from my previous frame) but that all changed with 165mm.
Just bought an angleset to slacken it out by 1 degree with 150mm pikes.
Size wise, my medium is a little bit tight but on the downs it makes it a hoot. Can still do 4-5 hours without issue though.
Forgot about the cranks.
I put a set of 170mm on them, removing the 175's I tried the first time. Much better now.
Set of 140mm 44 rc3 ti's are the perfect match for the ccdb air cs I put on it.
Cheers - how tall are you Matther? I did read they come up small.
not sure how it compares to a bandit but there's a new 26 inch called the Suppressor too.
Book - 5'7"...but I was coming from a long TT med Cotic Soul, so I was used to a bit more XC position wise.
Running a 55mm 0 degree haven stem and 750mm 15mm rise kinesis strut bars.
To give you an idea, I am 6ft and ride a large. Yet the frame is about the same size as my 17.5" PA hardtail. Sizing is wierd
Mmh, I'm 5'10" so wondering now if a medium would be too small.
I'd say medium would be too small...but depends on your torso/arms length etc
Fudge9202 had a mint large frame in the classifieds last week?
Nukeproof Mega TR sizing is not as odd. Just saying.
6'2" on a Large wih 70mm stem and 760mm bars.
Stock shock needed extra volume spacers, was a bit too keen on blowing through travel previously.
Low bb too, but no worse than my 5 Spot was.
It annoys me that the cable run is placed over the decal on the left side of the downtube.
Nothing else wrong with it.
