just reading this months t3 magazine and saw this [url=Www.calfeedesign.com]Bamboo pro[/url] What is that all about. 2700 quid as well. Mind you components look ok xt group set xfushion forks, disk brakes. Mind you it does have bar ends lol. Big questionn would this stand up to some stw abuse?

bamboo is pretty damn tough. I've seen this one before, looks like a cool concept and I'd be keen to give one a shot (though the asking price seems a bit steep for a material that grows itself?)

Did the Cape Argus last month and was chatting to a guy from the UK who was riding on a newly aquired Bamboo road bike. kitted out with decent components- looked good.
He'd only got the frame a couple of days before- was one of the first few frames made in Africa with local materials- part of a project to encourage locals to make their own bikes.
