Can't play bagpipes, but reckon I could rustle up a bag of angry cats which sounds the same!

Forum user Spaceman is a piper although I'm not sure how often he is on here these days.

I work with someone who knows guys from Brodick pipe band, he's a piper himself from Brodick, but lives on the mainland now, drop me an email and I'll put you in touch.

I was about to say the community on Arran will have more than a few, and starting with them would be best.
