[Closed] Baggies for fatty's!

So, hypothetically speaking, obviously, if I knew someone who needed a 40"/42" waist set of baggies that didn't act as a guillotine when adopting a riding position - are there any out there?

Endura no big enough. Or Altura.

Ideally a four way flex fabric like the lovely but sadly now departed ones that wore out. Hypothetically.

What are other fatty's wearing?

Thanks.

What you seek are these:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/polaris-am-500-repel-shorts-aw15/rp-prod90745
I discovered these last year, my first pair are still going strong, no logo's falling off like some brands. Very generous size-wise.
If these don't fit, get a kilt 🙂

My mate is probably similar size to you fella - a big guy with some massive legs, ex pro rugby player. He had the same problem. He saw me on my road bike one time and bought a set of cheap bib longs on my recommend - I think Planet X ones (I'm not 100% sure on that - they were about £25-£30) and he just wears his rugby shorts over the top. Reckons it's more comfy than any standalone baggies he's tried and I quote "I don't look like one of them road biker types!" 😆

Just a thought if your struggling..... 8)

The Decathlon stuff is good for sizes and most places have them in stock up to the bigger sizes too.

Polaris I would try on if you can before buying just to make sure.

I agree about endura and altura, they come up very small, I used to wear XL when I was what I call thin.

I was a 40" waist once and Endura's XXL Hummer shorts fit. Now I'm a 36", the XL fits nicely. I know you said that Endura are no good for your mate, but the Hummers are cut quite generously; maybe more generously than their other lines?

pearl izumi xxl (maybe even a little too big). You can also get a bib liner for them which helps keep them in place those of us who are the wrong shape.

I have a 31" waist and have to wear XL Endura kit, they must have borrowed the models from Castelli or something. They're a bloody joke

Altura Flexx shorts if you can find them. Buy a size down from what you normally wear.

I,m a 36" waist and have XXL Singletracks and they are slim

I've got 3/4 Humvees and they are XXL and they are baggy.
ENDURA Kit "I FIND" is all over the place,

Theres no way a 36" waist should be XXL.

Endura sizes vary a lot across designs.

The Zyme shorts and 3/4s are very roomy, good for up to 41" according to the size chart (although the same chart puts me in a small with a 34" waist so maybe not that accurate..)

Xxl specialised shorts are a genuine 40" waist. Got some Atlas shorts for Xmas and they're really nice.
