From Grizedale MTB

"I've just been informed by the Forestry Comission that some significant felling has taken place to remove Phytophora infected larch. As a result there are a number of unsanctioned trails which are no longer rideable including the Viking, Super Noodle andSuper Steep (GS). Please share to those you think should know. Oh and wash your bikes kids "

Some of the best tracks gone. Gutted.

No wonder my blinkin' wood supplier keeps giving me the hated larch. It makes tar, which dribbles down the flue and stinks.

last rode them a couple of weeks ago, might have to go and have a look and see how much damage has been done. i wouldn't put it past the FC to make out its more than it is just to deter people from riding them.

A good opportunity to remind folk to wash their bikes thoroughly when riding in different areas.
