Most trail centres are currently shut, forcing us to mountain bike wherever we can, backyards and living rooms!
Use this forum to share your backyard trails and builds, whether it be a pump track build, workbench, obstacle course or a new skill or trick that you've learnt, share it here!
Not completed yet, but fadda Jr and I are both working through Ryan Leech's wheelie in 30 days, since the online course is currently free (as per recommendation on here).
I'm hoping to get it pretty sorted by the time we're allowed back on the trails, so I can be one of the cool kids in the car park.
I'm 55... 😁
@fadda ye I'm just learning how to hold a wheelie as well! I'm thinking that there'll be a lot of people wheeling by the time we get out of lockdown!
I got a hopper ramp and just have enough space to get some air on the FS bike.
Been building single track in the woods. New flail mower just turned up so I can mow the front field ready for a pump track 😁😁😁😁
Got the woods at the end of my road. Pretty much completed a flowy section of tight woodsey singletrack which lasts for 1m20s'ish so a pretty good run. Dead easy to spin up to the top again on an existing path to re-ride it. Once I've finished tidying up a few bugs on that I'm going to bring a new trail off it near the end which will double back around a rocky outcrop and then flow down to the same bottom trail the current new track does but about 200m further along. Theres a few solo trail builders at work in the woods at the minute - going to be epic once we're out of this!
Will get pics tomorrow morning when I rake the entrance in.
That's some back yard and playground you have there enterusername ,love it good work.
I killed 6 hours yesterday by raking and maintaining some of my local trail network-somebody elses' backyard .
I got to it late this year as winter was savage and went on a bit, especially wind damage :
