Backward forks?

Saw a guy on the North Downs Way with the front disc on the right. Anyone any idea what fork (suspension) it was? I know that the roadrat (rigid) fork is like that but does anybody make a suspension fork with the brake on the right?

Or was it on backwards? It did look 'wrong' as he rode away??? The forks looked too vertical

I'm sure it must have been on backwards- did he have a special right handed brake caliper?

Some very old Pace forks had a Hope disc mounted on there. Very old indeed.

Thanks, confirmed my thoughts.

@andsy am I missing something? I'm using a normal BB7 on my right handed roadrat fork. But it's late for me ๐Ÿ˜
