Given it was weeing down, and a short journey to the shops and i didnt want the new ebike to get soaked, I took my cove which is also an xl, but 26" bike instead
WOW, felt totally weird and uncomfortable. Prior it was a comfortable bike and i was quite in tune with it but now it feels like im riding a kids bike.
Is this normal ?, because as it stands I dont think i could ever get comfy on it and feel its no longer something i could happily ride.
I've only been a fortnight on the e-suss 29er, but can it really be that different 😕

I just recently replaced an old frame, with a larger version of the exact same frame. It's been less than 2 months, I built the old one back up and it feels noticably short, after just that small time. Crazy how much of a difference it makes.
And going back to a 26er Soul years later was a bit of a shocker. Still good fun but I remember it as a confidence inspiring, do-it-all troublemaker, time's made it into a tiptoer.

Try going between a large 29er MTB, a road bike and a BMX, it always takes me a little while to adjust to the change of bike
I had the pleasure of pedaling my old Sanderson around the park last week.
Aside from the new owner not maintaining it (16 year old...), It felt immediately familiar yet wibbly. It just felt nervous and 'tall'.
Still looks great though, in the way that skinny steel frames do. 😎
