Yesterday i had my first successful cycle in almost a year and am very happy. So happy in fact, that im going to post two pictures to prove to myself it wasn't a dream.

Top pic is the shore of Lough Neagh (Antrim side). First time riding my local loop in a while and was saddened to see the sheer amount of waste and rubbish that had been washed up during the recent storms in the woodlands surrounding the Lough. Shameful - like riding through a skip in places.

Bottom pic a few miles further round the Lough in the hills that run along the Six Mile river. That's a flattering and deceptive pic of the trail - it almost looks like fun. What you are looking at is the most extreme XC trail you'll ever (or never unless you're over this way) ride - like a flat world cup DH trail. A proper challenge and a good test of the Horse ๐Ÿ˜€
