First ride in 5 months and even with slippery, muddy, wet and cold conditions I was elated.
Took it slowly at first and realised my fitness wasn't as bad as expected, however going downhill will take time to get some confidence back.

Thanks everyone. Weird yes, because I've been on the back of a tandem 3 times in the last few weeks, so to actually brake, steer, change gear and control my own bike was strange.

May need some skills lessons onzadog, am feeling like a total beginner ๐Ÿ™‚

Here's me going dh.

Apologies to the chap mtber that passed me at speed, shouting 'I'm passing'. He must have thought, what the hell is this woman with fancy bike and all the gear walking down this easy trail, sadly a trail I've been riding for over 13 years. Just bottled it.

Hope to out be out riding with you all again soon.
Bunnyhop x

Martyn could do Sunday.

Headed that way Nigel, however the lure to just ride was too much to stop.
