I remember crashing like that myself, there was ar ace in beddgelert, even Johnny T was there and the very very high speed gravel road descents were much scarier (to me) than the DH courses of today...

Very entertaining, thanks for posting that.

Made me all nostalgic for when I used to have to clamp my front wheel between legs and straighten my stem five times on every ride.

I'm struck mainly by how flimsy the bikes seem to be in a crash - how many dead wheels???
