Anyone got one ?

I'm thinking of getting a Hybrid / Road Bike to keep the fitness up now the nights are drawing in a bit.

I've already converted my old hardtail bike to a 9 speed and stuck some cheap road tyres on it, think they are 26" x 1.75, and thats quicker on road than my Mountain Bike despite still having the Suntour forks on the front 😳

What i'm asking is will the B Twin be easier to pedal & quicker than the Bike i've converted and is it a good buy ?

£250 is not a lot for a Bike but I dont want to spend a lot as Mountain Biking is my main riding, but just fancy something to use for a quick blast when its dark or raining.

[Disclaimer: I have no experience of these bike but].. decathlon tend to be great value for the money and a quick look @ the Halfords site doesn't suggest any reasonable 700cc alternative for similar money.
That said, it hardly going to be the lightest bike in the world, but supposedly a road/hybrid bike won't see the wear on component you see on a MTB, so it could be great value deal for not a lot of cash.

Alternatively 2nd hand should get you a better bargain... I'd suggest checking out the Carrera Gryphon's on the bay (if you fancy more bike for your money).

The Triban 3 at £300 seems to be very well regarded for the price so presumably the fitness 3 is decent too.
