[#1837779]

I've just left my front caliper soaking in penetrating oil for about 10 days but still having no joy shifting the caliper body bolts to allow me to change a sticky piston. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

I have an impact driver but need an adapter as it takes larger 8mm bits ๐Ÿ™ Just checked the instructions though and I can remove the 8mm socket to use 1/2 inch sockets - trying now. If that doesn't work, I've arranged a loan of a mini blowtorch although I don't want to remove any paint so had hoped to avoid this.
Ta for the suggestions

Saw a documentary a while back about car fires that pointed to brake fluid being highly flammable, thought it might be worth mentioning before you start playing with the blowtorch.

Thanks for the warning coatesy, I just got the buggers free using a torq bit and a socket wrench with the caliper clamped in a workbench.
Just need to get the effin' pistons out now!!! Grrrr
