What do people recommend? I'm tempted by the £7 clarks on Chain Reaction. Anyone got any experience with them?

I've been using EBC Greens from Merlin for a similar price. Last a fair while, and seem to stop the bike.

Dare I say it? But Superstar, work really well.

Any recommendations for non-squeeky-in-the-wet replacement pads?

My BB7s are amazing, feel just as good as the XT hydros they replaced, but I'm missing the sintered pads in the XT hydros, squeek free!

I've got the Clarks ones at the mo.. great stopping power, and quite hard wearing as well. Ride in the Peak which can be a bit hard on brake pads!

Clarks ones work well enough for me.

I've been using superstar pads daily for about a year. Cheap and do the job. They squeel just as bad as avid's own pads though.

Well, on the basis of all that I've gone for the Clarks. At £7 a pair for sintered it seemed rude not to!
