When i pull on my front brake the lever takes ages to return to the off position. I dont know what is supposed to spring it back to the correct position (i.e. a spring somewhere, or pressure in the fluid...) Anyone know how to fix the problem?

Thanks

Punch it. Violence is, in my experience, the only language Avid brakes understand.

Have you sprayed the pivots etc with lube by any chance? some lubes, such as TF2, seem to be mineral based and will cause the seals to swell and stick.

there is a spring around the pistin in lever which pushes it back.
Having the same problem with my Codes and i think it was caused by having turned the pad adjustment to far, which had sort of jamed everything inside the lever.
Im not sure yet as i havent got it re assembled yet.
