Ive just had a call from my bike guy saying that the Avid Elixir 1s I asked him to fit , have hoses that are way too short. They are brand new. Is it normal for this to happen? I'd have thought, if anything, they would come with longer than needed hoses. Im fuming!

The hoses for the elixir 5's I got were enormous. Way too long for an XL frame.
And got left that way by the LBS when they fitted them. (Admittedly for free) So didn't moan.

Ive had a look round the net and they seem to come with 620mm front and 1240mm rear. The site where i bought them didnt state hose length.
I don't understand why the don't supply them with a decent length in the first place. Bampots!
