I'm 5' 11"; road bike has 100mm stem with 420mm noodles and the Prince Albert has a 45mm stem with 680 risers.
I'd like wider bars but my local trails are pretty narrow (wiggly woodland singletrack).

well threw on some 710mm 1" risers with a 70mm stem - feels like a completely new bike! sooo much more confident inspiring. honestly its so different.
harder climbing but I can live with that

The average is 86.333mm across my bikes.

I'd sooner look into a layback post, which will [s]only effect handling when seated[/s] wereak havoc in your knees if the frame wasn't deigned arroud one.
