just back from a quick hour blast round brouxbourne. love the colors and the trails are bone hard too 🙂
possibly my fave time of the year to ride.

it's just right at the moment - not enough fallen leaves to hide the trails.
Everything is a bit boggy near Edinburgh. Even experienced a bit of boggyness at Glentress last night, but that was off piste :wink:. Still some dry bits in my local woods, in between the bogs. All good though.
loads of leaves down covering the trails but sooooo fast under tyre
I was in Broxbourne last Saturday - beautiful.
If by 'off-road' you can count the footpath I take through one of the parks on my way to work, then I put my hand up! 😐

Every time of the year has something special to offer but the beds of leaves exploding in shower of browns and gold behind you as blast you through is ace.
Ground is rock hard here too has been most of the year.
Out at 0630, up to the highest points in Herts and Bucks before some cheek, some more cheek and another bit of cheek on the way home.
Back for coffee, toast and medals before 0800.
Bit slippery underwheel after some rain last night, but some bone dry sections too.

Lucky you..it absolutely siled down here (halifax)plus hailstones and strong winds. Still had a good ride though! 🙂
Another Halifax resident - lighting the fire and staying indoors now til April.
not much in the likes of downhill around here. just wooded areas. might take me bike up there on the weekend anyhow and get some riding done. got 6 days off starting next thursday 8)
Tore around Haugh Woods on the Heckler through a mix of evening sunlight and showers. Trails in perfect condition! It was absolute bliss to a) be riding without a cast on and b) be on a FS (I'd forgotten how fast they go!)
