Some friends of ours have an Audi A2 and are struggling to find a compatible rear mounted bike carrier other than the tow bar variety which is going to end up pricy.
They don't want to go roof mounted as they have had problems getting bars to fit their late model and the height is also an issue.
I did think that my Saris bones rack may fit it using the same "hatch hugger" kit we use on our Octavia (which also has glass tailgate), but looking at their car, the angle on the top of the bumper looks too steep for the feet to get a decent hold.
Anyone drive an A2 and have some tips to share?
i used at have an Avenir Montana rack which was really good...but you may want to look at the Nevada rack they sell as the lower legs look like they are slightly longer...or maybe a Thule Freeway 968...
