Anyone got one? Thoughts?
I need to replace my Nukeproof Ti railed saddle as it's not overly comfy so browsing the usual suspects for deals.
Noticed Merlin are knocking the 'mud' saddle out for £34 so thought it might be worth a punt..
I bought one last week. Went on my Arkose and I've done about 100 miles on it. Initial thoughts are its well made and very robust looking - I especially like the reinforcement on the back. Well shaped for saddle pack too with pronounced v in the rear plastic. Its quite hard which I like and they are quite narrow so if you have a 'ahem' larger posterior they may not be so comfortable. Light enough considering the amount of foam etc.
Good enough that I'm going to get another one for my hardtail but they are not worth £160!
I bought one - and its too narrow for my a**e. The ones on Merlin are 122mm wide. I didn't cop that and bought it. Quite painful actually as it has a funny ridge on the cushioning. Back on the old flight now...
