As per the advert in the latest issue of the mag. Are they any good? At £130 an end they seem quite well priced.
Hi
got the front cheap on ebay and love it - going to get the rear to match. Doesn't quite fit snug to Shimano rapid-fires but anyone who wants to look that close at my bike and comment ain't worth listening to. Very progressive needing a fair bit of lever travel to start biting. Plenty of power compare to the Avid Elixir CRs that I'm replacing 'cos they keep going wrong. Using them on a 2010 Santa Cruz Superlight for XC. 185/160.

Demoed a BluePig with a set on, bit of a squishy feel, sensible feeling power at carpark testing speed, but utterly useless at fastish trailcentre pace (lots of noise, not a lot of change in speed).
Compared to the SLX brakes on 200mm rotors on my trail bikes and Saints on 200mm rotors on my DH bike, or the Hope M4/Mini combination I used to have they were useless, I would go so far as to say borderline dangerous.
The Bluepig on the other hand was a hoot, just a shame that ragging it into corners was a bit fraught with speed control issues.
