Just seen a TV ad for Asda flogging cheap bikes. I'm not sure about the rest of the ad, but I looked up at the last minute to see the bike on the top had the forks on the wrong way round.
I'm not intending to do anything about it, I just thought it was funny!
Didn't think I'd be the only one to notice!
simpsons watcher!!!
it made me chuckle too
Haha yeah I take it that it was the first time it aired?
Just posted it on another forum
hehehehe I noticed to
Apparently they are selling them for no profit, I'd wager a tenner they don't conform to the new CEN standards so they have to be sold sharpish. I'm always cynical when supermarkets are apparently doing a 'good'
Ziggy - you can sell for no profit for business reasons
People will be likely to buy accessories at the same time, and it will entice people to the store who don't usually shop there.
Yep, when the new harry potter books came out supermarkets were selling them at a loss, just to get people into the store. Nobody goes into a supermarket and comes out with just a book.

Light Wight and Hi-Tensile in the same sentence. Trading standards anyone? ❓
Most amusing thing is for me is that Steve Peat et al could probably still go down the Fort William DH course on that thing quicker than I could on an Iron Horse Sunday... if it held together long enough 😆
Plastic brakes! 😯
