[#2020208]

as you get older, why are do all ride rides/weekends/weeks away seem to be planned around good boozers in the chosen area.

just in the process of planning a weekends riding based in dent......or 5 minutes stumble from the dent brewery.
saturdays ride will take in the tan hill inn, the green dragon and the moorcock inn before reaching the brewery for the proper swilling to commence............. 8)

Oh and totally with you on this one Ton, but also tea and cake for ride fuel pre 11 then a cheeky pub stop near the end, nothing better,

lovely around there. Might be down that way next week @ Hawes, some cracking mtb stuff. Maybe an stw northern ride? Cam High Rd, Horton in Ribblesdale, Dent and back to Hawse? Big open moorland.
Good bike shop in Hawse; http://www.kudubikes.co.uk/ Mate has had some cracking deals having bought an Orange5 last yr.

Damn wish I had not looked at tha site = ST4 mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

You forgot the sportsmans inn.

When me n the missus had just got together we couldn't get any privacy so went to dent on the train for a weekend (in November) , went into this pub at 9pm on 'children in need' night it was a scream they were having a french themed night all the blokes dressed as tarts and the women as onion sellers (cliched yes but a sight to see) . At 12.30 I asked what time they were shutting , the reply was 'we usually run out of beer on wednesday' ๐Ÿ˜†

I like to finish a good ride with a pint , not a big drinker anymore but love a good beer.
