Not riding my race day bike in this.
Even my training bike has evolved to be a bit too nice.
So enter 1980s old steel racer, slap on some guards, bully on some Gatorskins and enjoy the wet.

handlebar tape done properly with no sticky tape holding the ends down.

Still haven't put any Proofide on that saddle, will Dubin suffice?
Hope those gatorskins don't puncture coz they were a mo-fo to get on.

taping the bars from the top usually results in the overlap lifting thats why many people tape from the bottom.
That does look rather nice all tarted up though.
