Shocking that they missed out honouring Sir Chris.

There is also a CBE for Cherie Blair, the wife of former Prime Minister Tony Blair, in recognition of her service to women's issues and to charity in the UK and overseas. The first female foreign secretary Margaret Beckett becomes a dame.

Nice that Dave Brailsford & Sarah Storey were recognised, and I like Danny Boyle even more for turning his down.

I'm sure women of the UK and the world are glad that Cherie is being honoured for campaigning for them

I'm also sure she is happy with the OBE and will be nice to Margaret at their next meeting

Hector Sants who was in charge of financial regulation at the start of the credit crisis, has been knighted

Well that proves its a credible "reward for good work " system ๐Ÿ™„

Doesn't he already have an MBE?
