Just went to undo the Maxle Lite on my Revelations. Tried to unscrew the lever but it wouldn't budge so used a bit more force and managed to snap of the edge of the collar that the lever sits in when you're unscrewing. So now I have a stuck Maxle lever and nothing for it to push against to try to unscrew it 👿
Any suggestion on how to get the Maxle undone??!
File a square edge into it further round the collar?

It happened to my mates the other month after some tools in his storage fell on the bike. Managed to (can't remember exactly) cut/file a smallish new recess in the collar so the maxle lever goes against this to undo.
A bit Heath Robinson but it was just before a ride and an emergency!

Did exactly the same. as said above file a square edge
Probably a bit late now, but make sure you grease that Maxle well!
Thanks for the suggestions. Remembered I bought a Dremel a few months back, so filed back the jagged edge to a reasonable square edge as suggested and that was enough to undo it.
Pheww...had a bit of a panic on then for a moment! Will give it a good grease to make sure it's not so bad next time. Lesson learnt 🙂
