I currently have the DT X455 rims on Deore hubs that came on my Genesis Altitude. I have Ghetto'd the rear, but it loses air slowly between rides and I've tried ghettoing the front and failed totally. So, I'm considering some new wheels with tubeless rims.
Someones mentioned these on another thread (Hope Pro 2, Stans 355 from Winstanleys) and I was wondering if they are much better than my current ones or if there is something better (or cheaper!) I could go for. I don't have an issue with my current wheels apart from my troubles with tubeless.
I recommend the wheels wholeheartedly, light, strong easy to go tubeless.
I would pay £20 more though and buy them from anywhere but Winstanley they mucked me about no end.
Great set of wheels, you won't go wrong.
cheers.
CRC will pricematch the wheels from Winstanleys- my Pro2/Flows were £205 and they are ace!
The Hopes are very good, plus weigh your current set and compare to the Hopes:
