You won't find many races in the off-season ๐Ÿ˜‰

I feel the need for a long hard race before Xmas - anyone else? If there's enough interest I might organise something small and brutal, 100 miles+. I just did 18,000m of climbing in the Alps (on the road mind) and want to test my new, improved, legs.

A week - it's was the Raid Alpine from Thonon to Antibes, and it was probably more like 17,000m in the end, but it felt like 25,000!

In this country? No.
Puffer is next.
How far are you prepared to travel? Just Europe (don't know if there are any) or further afield, Oz maybe?

You have to be a particular kind of stupid to even think about it.
No way. Not ever. No.
(although I recall saying that about 24 solos generally a few years ago and have now done three, two more planned next year...)

I am feeling that particular type of stupid coming on. I just want see how far I can ride a bike in 24hrs and I know there is no way I'd do it unless it some sort of event.

Never even heard of the Woodcock coast to coats, Googling now.
